SEPTEMBER 2011 Bulletin

Brothers,

Welcome back from our summer Break. I have the pleasure to serve again as your Chapter President.
The last time was in 2001-2003. My goal this time around: to reinvigorate our Chapter with
some new chapter projects and direction. Come to our September 13^th meeting to find out
more about the new programs and enjoy a complimentary Member Dinner for the Ahepa and
Daughters members.
I welcome all constructive comments from our members to help build our chapter, make it
stronger and more relevant to our goals and mission.

 

Chapter Meeting and Dinner: Tuesday, September 13^th. We will begin with a simple dinner
of Rotisserie Chicken and Ribs with salad at 6:30 in the Richmond Room of Ascension Cathedral,
followed by a very brief installation of the new 2011 Officers.
Our Chapter meeting will start about 7:45 in the Education Building, second floor,
due to a schedule conflict at our normal meeting room.

 

Scholarship Applications for the Napoleon Dokos Chapter Scholarship are available from
the Chapter President or Bro. Steve Miller. This year it will be a $2000 award; applications
are due, postmarked by, October 31, 2011.

 

Some members have not yet paid their Chapter Dues for 2011. If you are receiving this bulletin
by US Mail, there may also be bright colored Reminder Notice enclosed; for those by e-mail,
you will receive a special e-mail notice. Please take a minute to write a check for $60 and mail
to the Chapter Secretary, Dennis Metaxas. We need you to stay involved !!!

·        Discussion about participating in a Habitat for Humanity project.
